Is this sling escape-proof?
No. An open pouch and attachment clip cannot guarantee containment. For a nervous pet or a journey requiring secure enclosure, choose an appropriate fully enclosed carrier.
Can it be used as a car restraint or airline carrier?
Do not use this sling as a vehicle restraint. It is not sold as an airline-approved carrier; check the transport provider's requirements and use a suitable travel carrier.

The nylon fabric is water-resistant, does not attract lint or hair, and is resistant to sweat. It offers light water resistance, so it's best to avoid wearing it in the rain or exposing it to water for extended periods. Gentle hand washing is recommended. Do not machine wash, bleach, iron, dry clean, or tumble dry. If stained, please use a soft brush or towel to clean the area, then air dry in a well-ventilated place.
